A Humanist wedding with a Greek theme is a dream come true for me!
Emily and Ash wanted to include the Greek theme and references throughout for their Humanist wedding ceremony in the summer because Emily’s grandma was Greek.
This fusion wedding encapsulated the best of the English and the Greek family traditions and made it very personal.
For their outdoor Humanist wedding the weather was stunning and the ceremony itself was very simple which was completely in line with the vibe of the couple – they wanted simplicity, a clear style and for their ceremony to reflect who they are. They wrote their own vows to one another. They chose and provided their own hand-tying ribbons with colours that reminded them of the characteristics of their relationship. And Greece.
Their Greek themed Humanists wedding ceremony was sensitively curated and designed by Synched Events at Shotesham Park just south of Norwich. Floral wedding decorations by Floral Sistas were bronze, pampas, pastels with trees and grasses, Greek urns, grapes and ripe figs! The wedding planners at Shotesham Park (part of Unique Norfolk Venues ) were wonderfully unobtrustive and so, so helpful. Make-up and hair for the bride and her attendants was completely natural and themed with plaits, ribbons and expertly arranged by Boho Beauty Box
The stunning photography by Aurora Grey blew me away as it so sensitively encapsulated the dreamy quality of the day. I especially loved the shots at sunset. Take a look at the gallery!

Finally Emily wrote to me after their Humanist wedding ceremony to say “thank you for such a personalised ceremony – so many people commented that it brought them to tears and Ash and I will always be grateful for the opportunity to have shown our love in this way. We will treasure your words forever.”
